ThreadFix allows you to create scan and application metadata as needed.

Create Metadata Keys

Within the Metadata Keys page (cog → Customize → Metadata Keys), you can create scan and application metadata keys.

Click either of the Create…Keys buttons to create the desired key.

Add Metadata

You can add the scan or application metadata within the Scan Details or Application Details page, respectively.

Scan Metadata

Navigate to to the Scan Details page for a desired scan, expand the Scan Details section, and click the Add Metadata button.

Enter the desired key and click the Create Metadata button.

Application Metadata

Navigate to an Application Details page, click on the top Action menu button, and select Edit / Delete from the menu.

Within the Metadata Values section at the bottom, enter the desired application metadata for the desired key(s).
