October 2022 - Known Issue Warning: Following changes in the K8 APIs, installing or upgrading ThreadFix on Kubernetes versions 1.25 or newer will fail. This issue will be addressed in the next ThreadFix release.
Production Installation Checklist
Requirements
- Create a Kubernetes environment that meets the minimum requirements in System Recommendations
- Complete the Kubernetes Permissions guide to verify the user has sufficient permissions to install ThreadFix on the Kubernetes cluster.
- (Optional) Follow the Installing without ClusterRole and ClusterRoleBinding Permissions and Pre-Installing Custom Resource Definitions if applicable.
Prepare
- Follow any applicable Pre-Installation Platform Setup instructions
- (Optional) Create and configure any External Databases
- (Optional) Configure Private Docker Registry
