To try out ThreadFix on an evaluation basis, follow the Quick Install Guide which covers installing k3s and ThreadFix on a single virtual machine.
Production Installation Checklist
Requirements
- Create a Kubernetes environment that meets the minimum requirements in System Requirements.
- Complete the Permissions for ThreadFix (Kubernetes) guide to verify the user has sufficient permissions to install ThreadFix on the Kubernetes cluster.
- (Optional) Follow the Installing without ClusterRole and ClusterRoleBinding Permissions and Pre-Installing Custom Resource Definitions if applicable.
Prepare
- Follow any applicable Pre-Installation Platform Setup instructions
- (Optional) Create and configure any external databases External Database
- (Optional) Configure ThreadFix 3.X with a Private Docker Registry - 3.1 WIP
